Project Management of Tear off & Re Roofing Of Nano Science Research Center for Cushman Wakefield - University of Central Florida Foundation Orlando, Florida.
Client’s Objective:
Review the specifications provided to the client by the contractor. Assist the client and the contractor with scheduling with consideration of the laboratories on the top floor along with inclement weather situations. Insure the installation was completed as per manufactures’ recommendations and project specifications. Perform full time inspections (overnight, holidays & weekends) and provide daily reports along with photo documentation to the client during the complete installation process of the Johns Manville Roof Assembly.
Upon receiving all permits needed in order to begin tear-off and installation of the new roof system, Allied Roofing consultants worked closely with the client and contractor assisting with the scheduling so that no disruptions of any sort were caused to the research laboratories by the installation of the new roof system. Members of Allied performed full time inspections as needed, meeting with a member of the local permitting department while recording installation progress on a daily basis. All reports were signed and stamped by our in house engineer to be returned to the client.
Project Management of Repair and Installation Of Sight Screen Walls Boca Raton, Florida.
Client’s Objective:
Review and Critique the specifications provided to the Client by the contractor. Determine the best course of action to resolve any installation issues. Insure the installation was completed to manufactures specifications. Review contractor bids. Provide photo documentation to the client during the complete installation process of the new sight screen walls. Follow up site visits during the installation as requested by the client. Weekly scheduling Meetings, monitor tenant concerns.
Prior to the start of the sight screen project the consultant met with the client and the contractor to review the engineering of the project to meet with city codes, and set up of the job site as well as with the loading of the materials. The consultant during the course of the project worked with the contractor to identify possible problems and assisted in finding possible solutions.
The consultant conducted a final inspection of the newly repaired and installed sight screen installation and provided the contractor with a list of items that were to be addressed. This process insures the client that the installation process has been completed to the manufacture’s specifications. During the entire process the client was provided with weekly reports along with photo documentation.
Roof Asset Management for Hernando County School Board - 2010 Roof Condition Assessments Hernando County, Florida.
Client’s Objective:
Conduct condition assessment surveys of the existing roof assemblies at all schools and associated buildings for the Hernando County School Board. Provide the school board a detailed analysis of the roof’s current condition including detailed observations and recommendations. Provide photo documentation of areas outlined in the condition report and include estimated reactive repair and capital expenditure budget figures for budgetary considerations.
Allied Roofing Consultants met with the Hernando County School Board’s Facilities Department to schedule roof assembly condition assessments for all schools and county school board buildings. Upon completion of the roof inspections, a thorough analysis was made of each existing roof system’s overall condition including current deficiencies which was then outlined in a narrative report with captioned photo documentation. An estimated budget for current deficiencies observed during the inspection along with a projected three year reactive repair and capital expenditure budget was produced for each roof assembly in order to assist the Hernando County School Board with their yearly budgets. Lastly, a RoofCAD drawing was made of each school, labeling each building as per outlined in the narrative report.
Roof Asset Management for Hernando County School Board - 2010 Roof Condition Assessments Hernando County, Florida.
Client’s Objective:
Provide Design Services for the re-roofing of the entire Oakhill Villages Shopping Center located in Orlando, Florida. Upon completion of design specifications, host a pre-bid meeting with four qualified and approved local contractors. Conduct onsite quality control inspections from beginning to finish of the re-roof project.
Allied Roofing Consultants conducted an onsite pre-design inspection at Oakhill Villages Shopping Center. During the inspection, core samples were extracted at each level, notations of existing conditions were made and a RoofCAD drawing was generated in order to display all existing rooftop equipment and site measurements.
Upon completion of the pre-design inspection, an Infrared moisture detection survey was then conducted to determine the amount (if any) of entrapped substrata moisture content within the existing roof system. Once it was deemed dry after analyzing the thermal images. re-roof design specifications were then produced for the installation of a retrofit single-ply roof system to be installed over the existing built up roof system. Quality control inspections were then conduction for the duration of the project with narrative reports and photo documentation provided to the client.
